Bothered by White Spots on Your Teeth? Icon Treatment Can Help

White spots on teeth are common and aren't harmful, but they can affect your confidence. They're often linked to childhood fluoride exposure, past trauma, or mineral loss from the enamel surface, and standard Whitening alone won't remove them.

Icon treatment works by penetrating the tooth's pores where the white spot is visible, filling them with a tooth-coloured resin that blends the spot in with the surrounding enamel, without any drilling.

We welcome Icon treatment patients from Derby, Hilton, and the surrounding towns and villages of South Derbyshire, including Willington, Etwall, Hatton, Egginton, Tutbury and Burton upon Trent, all within easy reach of our practice on Welland Road.

What is the process for Icon White Spot Treatment in Derby?

A step-by-step guide to a more even smile – from a dentist near you

01

Consultation

We'll assess your white spots and confirm whether Icon treatment is suitable.

02

Preparing the Tooth

A special gel is applied to open the pores of the white spot, without any drilling.

03

Infiltrating the Resin

A tooth-coloured resin is applied so it permeates the enamel and takes on the surrounding shade.

04

Light-Curing & Finish

The resin is light-cured in place, blending the former white spot into your natural smile.
