Fees

Please note 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel your appointment (to avoid wasting surgery time and offer the appointment to another patient who may require more urgent care and help cover our running costs) to avoid a short notice cancellation fee.

Dental treatment/hygiene appointments will require a deposit based on the length of the appointment required (£1 per minute of the appointment booked). Late cancellation (less than 48 hours’ notice) or failure to attend will incur a charge.

A refund of the deposit will be provided should you decide against the treatment itself and provide sufficient notice. Appointments with our dentist/hygienist are charged at £1 per minute and any appointments with a specialist (oral surgeon, implantologist) will be charged at £2 per minute. Currently these fees are not paid to the dentist/specialist/hygienist and are used to help cover our operating costs.

For routine examination and scale appointments being booked 6 months in advance, we don’t currently take a deposit. If those appointments are missed or cancelled at short notice, there will be a charge of £35 (15 minutes for the examination and 20 minutes with the hygienist).

For our patients who are PAYG, this charge will need to be paid before we can book any further appointments, and the next appointment will require a deposit.

If you are a plan member and cancelling an inclusive appointment within 48 hours (such as an examination or hygiene visit), you will have the option of paying a short notice cancellation fee £35, or waiting until your next inclusive appointment is due (6 months). Repeated cancellations will incur the full appointment fee if a patient wishes to rebook before their next inclusive appointments can be booked.

Patients who repeatedly cancel at short notice (or fail to attend) will incur the full charge for the appointment that was booked and may be refused future appointments at the practice.
